The Montessori room in Willow House Newtownpark has been created to be a peaceful and happy place where the developmental needs of each stage of growing up are met and encouraged.
The room contains many places for children to learn and play in different ways ;by themselves, in pairs, in small or large groups, inside and outside, at tables and on the floor.
They are taught through role playing activities and appropriate modeling. Bright and colorful equipment both playful and education are available for the children to use.
These include natural materials, cultural objects and an introduction to the world around them.
Some of the other characteristics taught through play are respect, kindness ,independence, courtesy, freedom of choice and imagination.
We have a large garden with outdoor play toys appropriate for their age.
We have an open door policy are available to meet and discuss your child’s progress at anytime. We take very seriously the importance of preparing your child for “big school”
and over the years have been proud of their accomplishments.

Little Stars room is peaceful, happy place designed to meet the developmental needs of each child in every stage of life.
Little Stars room contain many places for children to learn and play, in many different ways: by themselves, in pairs, in small groups, in large groups, inside, outside, at tables, on the floor.
All items in the environment are scaled to the child’s size, including furniture, shelves, utensils, dishware, cleaning implements and the Montessori materials themselves.
